This is a comic I wrote and illustrated about my dog Kismet. She came into my life at a time when I really needed her and continues to be an inspiration to me every day. Kismet is a rescue dog that was abandoned at a trail head in Sonoma County, California. I didn't know how important animal adoption was before, she really taught me that when you adopt an animal from a shelter or rescue, you're saving a life.

This is the story of how we found her, or- more importantly- how she found us.
